Natives of the department of Yoro reported that "Fish Rain" is a storm that spans two or three hours; with strong winds and electrical activity, and due to the force of the winds, recognize that it is the phenomenon.

Unexplained Phenomenon

However, waterspouts are not known to carry their water load over long distances and in any case, not be applicable to Yoro, located about 200 kilometers off the coast of the Caribbean Sea.
